About Chickgun
Chickgun is a tower defense game where players play as a chicken defending a barn from various pests such as wolves, snakes, and foxes. Using other farm animals as towers, one of the constraints we had was that the game had to be playable on controller. While a challenge, this constraint enabled is to think outside the box and develop a control scheme for a genre most often associated with mouse and keyboard. It also led to the idea of a playable character on the map.

Overview
As both a producer and programmer, my responsibilities were split in two areas. As producer, I maintained an efficient communication pipeline and organized our weekly sprints in a Kanban framework, while leading meetings and discussion for game mechanics and designs.

As a programmer, my focus was spent in gameplay, such as enemy pathing and the towers themselves. While also having a hand in the economy balance and the the audio design and implementation for the game.
